  • Wide range of minimum and maximum switch ratings
Emergency stop switches

Safe, intuitive and reliable.

Emergency stop switches are a must for automated machines and systems. They enable a person to immediately stop a machine or system in an emergency. Emergency stop switches protect people from injury and prevent damage to machines, systems and vehicles.

Stop safely and immediately.

Emergency stop switches with positive opening function (in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13850 and EN 60204-1) primarily serve to protect people. However, they also protect your vehicles, machines, systems and controls from damage in the event of a breakdown. Emergency stop switches are always foolproof in design. You can easily recognise them by the red lens with yellow actuator or the yellow protective shroud.

Advantages

  • 100% switching reliability and foolproof, even in harsh environments
  • Low back panel depth
  • Large range of minimum and maximum switch ratings
  • Illuminated
  • Resistant to impact, vibration and shock
  • Usable down to –40 °C
  • Very long service life for mechanical and electrical components
  • Available with standards-compliant protective shroud
Keylock switches

Keylock switches are in use worldwide and have proven themselves to prevent erroneous or unauthorised operation. They can also be used to implement access authorisation for user groups.

Advantages

  • Selection of different lock systems
  • Different switching angles
  • 2 or 3 possible switch positions
  • Very long service life for mechanical and electrical components
  • Variety of combinations including maintained and momentary action
  • Supports all commonly used connection systems
Rotary switches

The development of the Blue Line rotary switch and motor starter product ranges is based on more than hundred years experience by Kraus & Naimer in the design and manufacture of electrical switchgear. Kraus & Naimer pioneered the introduction of the cam operated rotary switch and continues to be recognized as the world leader in that product field.

The C-series switch represents the classic cam switch by Kraus & Naimer. With specific models for all current ratings it offers an ideal solution for a wide variety of applications.

The CA-series with finger proof terminals from 10 A to 32 A is ideally suited for many standard applications where industrial controls, instrumentation and electric motors are involved. For low-voltage applications down to switching of electronic signals the CA4 and CA4-1 are offered. The CA4-1 has gold-plated contacts and guarantees reliable switching, even under adverse, aggressive environmental conditions. Cam switches of the CG, CH and CHR-series are designed for universal applications.

Different contact designs, contact materials and terminals allow the use the C-Series switches in accordance with IEC 60947-3, EN 60947-3, VDE 0660 part 107, UL and cUL (cUR)

Fingerproof terminals, accessible either horizontally or vertically, captive Philips screws and integrated screwdriver guides designed for the use of motorized screwdrivers are some clear practical advantages of this series.
